Born and raised in North County San Diego, California, I'm a husband and dad of two kiddos. Welcome to Look at this Perfect Bite where I'll be sharing lots of fun, easy recipes. Cheesy, saucy, juicy, mouthwatering, delicious food! My absolute favorite is Mexican cuisine, and you'll see lots of Mexican-inspired recipes, burgers, sides, salsas and sauces, Blackstone, Traeger and so much more!

I'm always making food, from breakfast to dinner, for my daughter, my son who has food allergies, my wife and myself! I'm always looking for that perfect bite, a bite of food that just makes you happy!
I'm a Musician
I write a ton of music, and I've been playing drums and guitar since I was a kid. I played in bands for many years, from punk rock, alternative to a Kiss cover band.
I also love surfing, coaching my son's baseball team, movies.

It's not just me! This website is a husband and wife collaboration and the fruit of years of work! Priscilla Lawrence, my bride of over 11 years, is the creator of our first website Sprinkled with Balance. While I develop the recipes you'll find on this website, because she is an experienced food blogger, Priscilla is helping out with food styling, food photography, copywriting and everything else truly. We're pouring our hearts into this project, and we hope you find lots of recipes you love!
