Salsa Fresca

Salsa fresca, also called pico de gallo, is a staple salsa in Mexican cuisine. It's fresh, delicious and very easy to make, using only a few ingredients. Homemade anything is always better, use it on taco Tuesday and more!

Ingredients

  • 3 Roma tomatoes
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 cup cilantro finely chopped
  • ½ jalapeño finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ lime juiced

Instructions

  • Finely chop the tomatoes, onion, jalapeño and cilantro.

  • Combine everything in a bowl. Add salt, pepper and lime juice. Gently stir. Enjoy!
