Smoked Garlic Sauce

If you have smoker you must try this recipe! Wether you use it as a dipping sauce, a spread or a flavor enhancer, this smoked garlic sauce is a delicious condiment that will bring dishes to the next level. It's rich, smoky and amazingly garlicky!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups peeled garlic cloves
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 small lemon about 2 tablespoons
  • 1 teaspoon salt more or less to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat smoker to 300° Fahrenheit.
  • Place the peeled garlic cloves on a sheet of tinfoil (baking sheet optional). Spray with cooking oil.

  • Add to preheated smoker, and smoke for about 2 hours.

  • Put mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, salt, pepper and smoked garlic cloves into a blender.

  • Blend until smooth. Store refrigerated in an airtight jar. Serve with sides of choice such as meats, veggies or as a spread on burgers or sandwiches. Enjoy!
